About Me

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience building scalable, customer-facing web applications across frontend and full-stack systems. My recent work focuses on React, TypeScript, Next.js, and AWS, where I’ve led the design and delivery of modern platforms that balance clean architecture, performance, and real-world usability.

In my current role at Asurion, I’ve owned and led cross-functional projects from technical design through production delivery, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers. My responsibilities span frontend architecture, CMS-driven platforms, serverless APIs, and cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on maintainability, observability, and reliable delivery in production environments. I’m comfortable taking ownership of complex initiatives while staying hands-on in the code.

Earlier in my career, I worked extensively in UI/UX and frontend engineering roles across enterprise logistics, insurance, and healthcare organizations. That progression—from design systems to frontend architecture to full-stack development—has shaped how I approach problem-solving today, especially when translating product and design requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Before transitioning fully into industry software engineering, I spent over a decade in higher education as a professor and program lead. That experience strongly influences how I work now: I value clear communication, mentorship, thoughtful documentation, and building systems that help teams move faster together. I enjoy environments where collaboration and technical leadership are just as important as individual contribution.

I’m excited about opportunities where I can continue building modern web platforms while contributing technical leadership and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
